Today webmasters are in all countries who can assist in building sites. Additionally there are on-line web-building templates that are easy to use and maintain.
This is the front page to our Mia Mali site.
The Mia Mali website was a wholesale portal for international clients. Shipping costs and money transfers were too expensive to service international retail sales from within Mali.
Within a year of launching the site we shipped about 40 air-freight and 4 container shipments around the globe, most products sight-unseen., including an order for 800 woven chairs (see Metal)
It is essential today that businesses doing international sales have a web presence.
Specific needs should be assessed before launching into a web marketing campaign, or building a site. With little out-of-pocket expense and a lot of work, one can launch a successful campaign through linking with other sites and establishing an active on-line social presence.
Today there are simple web building templates that are free or low-cost. For marketing, there are opportunities to link with shopping mall type sites, and many service specific world regions. These opportunities are expanding every day.
The Importance of Digital Imaging
Photos should sell the product. In digital imaging workshops my mantra is "the images have to be DELICIOUS!"
The images must bring out the appeal of the product while retaining integrity.
These are two similar necklaces. Above is a standard photo. On the left the image is DELICIOUS. It was simply done in a village using moistened leaf and natural sunlight.
